Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp is a remote luxury camp within the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, located in the southwest of Uganda.
The camp has spacious and stylishly decorated tented units. Each comes with 2 queen size beds, a private viewing deck and a large bathtub with views of the jungle.
All meals are included and served in the camps' main area, which comprised of a lounge, a bar and a dining area overlooking the jungle forest. A campfire is lit in the evening.
For relaxation, the mini spa offers a wide selection of treatments.
Activities offered include community walks and for a surcharge, bird watching, game viewing, forest walks are available. The camp can also arrange gorilla tracking on advance request.
Private charter flights can be arranged from Entebbe to Kihihi Airstrip, located 75 minutes from the camp. There is also the options of a scenic, 8-hour road transfer from Kigali Airport in Rwanda, or a 10-hour drive by car from Kampala.
