The Old School House is a converted 3-bedroom cottage featuring panoramic views of the Matjiesvlei Valley and Swartberg Mountain Range. It is located on the River Farm which also contains an outdoor dam for swimming.

The property is self-catering and has a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, oven, microwave, and fridge. It has a private bathroom with both a shower and a bath. There is a barbecue for a traditional braai.

Guests can explore the valley by bike or on foot. The farm contains native wildlife and fishing is possible in the river.

The nearest town of Calitzdorp is a 15-minute drive away and free private parking is possible on site. Oudtshoorn is a 50-minute drive from The Old School House cottage.
